The Knoxville Gay Men's Chorus Performs Holiday Favorites On December 14th

A newly appointed angel contemplates whether he wants to be a "good" angel or perhaps a little bit of a "naughty" angel in the Knoxville Gay Men's Chorus holiday concert, "Naughty or Nice". With an original script written by Adam Crandall, costumes by Kyle Schellinger, and choreography by Jeremy Hall, the chorus will perform an entertaining selection of holiday favorites, both "naughty and nice". Dr. Alan Stevens conducts two performances, both presented at the Bijou Theatre in downtown Knoxville, at 3 and 7:30pm on December 14th. Tickets and information at http://knoxgmc.org

Melony calls the beautiful mountains of Boone, N.C., home, although she was born near Greensboro, N.C. There’s just something about those Blue Ridge Mountains that got in her blood and never left after she moved there to attend Appalachian State University (ASU). While at ASU, she majored in piano performance and music therapy and began to cultivate a love for accompanying and for collaborating with other musicians. This soon led her to earn a master’s degree in collaborative piano at the University of Tennessee, which she attended from 2006-2008.
